Tillandsia argentea

A decorative, small sized species. It is spread across Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba and Jamaica at heights between 1000-1300 meters. It has a rarer flowering period, but durable and survives draught well. The base of the plant is dense and layered similar to an onion. The leaves that protect the flower can turn red, while the flower itself gets a purple color. It likes bright light and moderate amount of moisture, with spraying only once in 1-2 weeks.

You can have this plant in variously shaped and sized orbs and decoration from ourĀ webshop.
